Enjoy! http://vimeo.com/91669410 This week in Pirates' Cove marks the final diary entry in the Titanic saga. You may have already known that at 11:40 p.m on April 14, 1912, the "unsinkable" Titanic struck an iceberg. What you may not have known is that each student was there! (well his/her character was, at least). Students will be chronicling the timeline of events as well as the emotional swings their characters endured in this week's final diary entry! Third graders continue to plow ahead with fractions by comparing them, ordering them, and simplifying them. Speaking of math, we are still accepting any Math-a-thon donations that may still be trickling in. Books continue to fly off the classroom library shelves and into the backpacks of third graders dying to take them home. That makes us very happy.
